Adding to the allure is its location at the northeast corner of Lake of the Isles, providing beautiful sunset views over the Lake. Lake of the Isles Park is one of the few remaining examples of the picturesque park prototypes constructed during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s in the United States and is undergoing restoration to its’ original design. Access to I-94, I-394, I-35, Hennepin Avenue, and the heart of downtown takes only a few minutes, even at the height of rush hour. The present owners especially enjoy walking to Hennepin Avenue, the Guthrie, the Uptown area, Loring Park, the Walker Art Center, and even downtown and Nicollet Mall for dinner and entertainment.
